As part of the Amazon Vine program, I was given the opportunity to try and review this product. In my reviews, I share my honest experiences and assessments or provide usage tips for other users, possibly including suggestions for product improvements.
**Brief Review**
The capsules are compressed powder, which I personally find better for administration. Upon opening the container, a moderately strong fishy smell is noticeable. Therefore, these tablets are not ideal for carrying in your pocket while on the go. Our dog likes them and has had no issues with this supplement. In short: no noticeable intolerance.
The effectiveness of dietary supplements is always difficult to determine. Yes, our dog limps significantly less. However, this could also be due to a change in the weather. Nevertheless, there has been no worsening of his condition.

I was very pleased to find a supplement with these ingredients for my small dog. He often does those little jumps that are common in small dogs and sometimes runs on three legs, keeping one of his hind legs lifted. In the past, I had to have cruciate ligament surgery performed on two of my small dogs (a Cairn Terrier and a Jack Russell mix), and now I want to take preventive measures to avoid that happening again.
I have always fed high-quality food and made sure my dogs don’t jump too high, but still… Our Chihuahua-Jack Russell mix has been with us for about six months now and is 17 months old. He is quite greedy but still a bit picky when it comes to his morning meal. So far, it has been difficult—almost impossible—to sneak anything into his food.
These capsules, whose ingredients I’m really excited about, can be opened so the powder can be mixed into his food. It has a strong turmeric flavor (of course, I tried it myself 😉), but our little one only briefly noticed the new scent and then, as always, ate everything up quickly.
I have been adding the powder to his food for a few days now and assume that the ingredients will be beneficial for his joints and tendons, making them stronger. The dosage is very easy in our case—I don’t have to measure anything, as he simply gets the contents of one capsule.
Whether the effects will ever be visible is uncertain since his three-legged hopping is a habit he might never give up. But maybe in a few years, I’ll realize that he still hasn’t needed surgery, and that will make me very happy.
